I pray because that’s what it takes
For blessings from heav’n to earth to increase

I pray because Your Name is True
That strength and healing come from You
I pray the lost and lonely find the Way
I pray Your will alone be done
Salvation found in Your Perfect Son
I pray Your Spirit move in hearts today

I pray because You hear each word
Believing each request is heard
I pray persistently and persevere
You sought for one to take a stand
To not be silent in this land
Humbly, in Your presence, I am here
