As I solemnly seek
An audience with my King

I wait for You

Who are You
But Holy God
Infinite in majesty

Who am I
One saved by grace
Accept the call to intercede
To plead for others—head bowed, hands raised

So, I pray as if You’re really there
I pray as if You really care
I pray as if You hear and power release
I pray as if a difference makes
I pray as if that’s what it takes
For blessings from heav’n to earth to increase

I pray as if Your Name is True
That strength and healing come from You
I pray the lost and lonely find the Way
I pray Your will alone be done
Salvation found in Your Perfect Son
I pray Your Spirit move in hearts today

I pray as if You hear each word
Believing each request is heard
I pray persistently and persevere
You sought for one to take a stand
To not be silent in this land
Humbly, in Your presence, I am here.
