REWARD Offered

Open your mail and find ads for rewards on credit cards. Turn on the news and hear rewards offered for those who help solve crimes or provide vital information on prison escapees. I receive reward points on groceries toward discounts on gas. But, did you know there are rewards promised in the Word of God?

Here are a few of my favs:
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).

“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does …” (Ephesians 6:7-8).

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord God you are serving” (Colossians 3:23-24).

Living for the Lord may have its hardships, but it also comes with rewards in many forms. Seek Him, serve Him, and do the work He has given you to do. Watch for His rewards and always give thanks for them, for our Father loves us beyond measure and desires to give good gifts to His children.

Go forth and be blessed!

About Arrow

Hi and welcome! My pen name is Arrow. The word “arrow” intrigues me because it has two meanings that describe my passions. One, it is an instrument used intentionally to reach a target, and two, it shows the way. As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, my goals are to live for Him, lead others to Him, and glorify the Heavenly Father. I pray that the stories, poems, song lyrics, and devotional thoughts I share on this website will always be inspired by the Holy Spirit and aligned with the truths found in God’s Word. My hope is that the words may penetrate your heart and point the way to a closer relationship with the Savior. I look forward to sharing my journey with you. Experiencing what God has in store is bound to be exciting! May you be blessed! ~ Arrow
