Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, unsure what to do next? Even Jesus, in His human form, sought the Father. In Him, Jesus found strength and guidance. If Jesus, the Son of God, called on the Father God, how much more should we?
“Call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you” (Jeremiah 29:12).
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).
“Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name” (Psalm 105:1a).
“I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD” (Psalm 116:17).
“The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth” (Psalm 145:18).
“They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God” (Zechariah 13:9b).
May we set aside our phone, friends, and Google and first call upon the Name of the Lord.
